Who's 40D has had the most actuations?

A Q just for a laugh really since mine's getting on a bit and I'm starting to get paranoid about how much longer it'll give good service as I can't afford a replacement

I'm aware of MTTF forecasts etc, but am intrigued to see how much of a hammering they'll take in the real world.

Mine's 21 months old and on about 32k actuations

Mine is about 21 months old too - and looking in lightroom I have 52,000 40D shots in there, have deleted LOTS and have some stuff that isn't in lightroom....so 60,000+ easily I would say.

I read somewhere that 100,000 is when they let go.

Yeah, I think 100k is the mean time to failure forecast.

I'm hoping mine will last a fair while yet as I plan my next upgrade to be to a full frame body, which won't be for a looong time...
