Something seems not quite right, not sure if it's oversharpened?

I know there is nothing you could do about this but the end of the branch is quite dark an prominent in the picture. The angle of the branch sort of leads you to it.

Interesting background.

I agree, it's leading my away from the bird.

I think a closer crop would be better for this, leave the whole branch in but cut off quite close.

The sharpening looks ok to me though, I think it's just how the light was hitting it.

Overall nice shot though, bird had pretty good detail
