I went for a pee last night during the severe storm we were having at the time and the water in my loo was moving around quite a bit, any body know why?
I would guess it's either something to do with the barometric pressure moving the body of water or simply the wind whistling around in the drainage system.
because the wind blows down the pipe outside (I hope it's outside anyway, otherwise you might have a problem ), as there's a vent in the top, which moves the water
wind? toilet? beans? sorry.
the outside drain does ahve a stack pipe that vents to the air. yup. wind blowing round it creates a slight pressure down the pipe which pushes on the water in the u bend.
hence moviing water du toilet
