Wide Angle Convertor

Hi all,

I'd love to go and buy a wide angle lens, I checked eBay and found some up for sale at a reasonable price, but..... having just spent £700 on the 17-55, I cannot afford to buy this yet.

I'm wondering whether someone could recommend a Wide Angle Convertor which i can use on the Canon 17-55 f2.8 (77mm).

I realise there will be a drop in quality however, i'm willing to make this sacrifice for the time being, untill i can afford a proper wide angle lens. I checked the forums before posting and couldn't really find anything conclusive. I could however find items on ebay which suggests they are available.

I really wouldn't bother. The 17-55 is a fantastic lens and to stick some cheap crap wide angle thing in front of it would be blasphemy.
There are no decent wide angle adapters, just generic ebay tat that ruins any hint of sharpness your lens may have.

Save your money for a 10-20 and in the meantime just enjoy the 17-55.
