wide angle for Sony a500

Really getting to grips with my a500 and im after a super wide angle lens any suggestion ?

11-18 Sony? If you are after something cheaper the 10-24 Tamron is a very good alternative. As with many older Tamrons though AF is lacking.

Sorry just one more, if you don't care about the range and you really just want a very wide angled lens the Tokina 11-16 is an extremely well regarded lens. I am not sure if it is made for the A mount though.

if you really want super wide Sigma 8-16 or there is a Samyang 8mm fisheye (manual focus & aperture)

Sigma 10-20 is a good option but look for an older f4-5.6 one, cheaper and supposed to be better.

I do like my Sigma 8-16mm, if they do it for Sony it is highly recommended.

I wouldn't worry about that, not much Sony stuff here anyway.

Worth keeping an eye on dyxum though. I bought (and later sold) my Sigma 10-20 there, amongst other things.

best quality is the tokina 11-16mm f2.8 (at a price though)

best value wise is the sigma 10-20mm (get the older, slower version, some reviews indicate it's better than the newer f3.5 version)
