Wide angle lens choice?

Hi folks,

I am starting to get to grips a little with my photography understanding(about time) i do though, need some advice on my lens choices. I have a set some cash aside for a 24-105 for my 60D but I would also like to purchase a wide angle lens. I only have a small budget for this..any ideas of a good low cost one?

Hmmmm both seem good choices, decisions, decisions...thanks guys. Anyone else have opinions please jot them here for me, thanks.
 
I've just picked up Nikon version Tokina 11-16 from Hdew for £319. Sharp as a sharp thing and f2.8 throughout the range. Having lots of fun with this lens and cannot fault it for the money.

I loved this lens when I had it, superb lens for the price!!!
 
Another vote for the 10-20 sigma, mine has lived a hard life and still works fine, it also has an infinity setting so is handy.
 
I've the Sigma 10-20mm and would certainly recommend one

There are a few others about which get a good following, the new Canon 10-18 could be worth a look at as well...

I obviously don't know what lens you have at present, but I would suggest that a 24-105 is not the ideal lens for a crop body camera.
I think you would be much better off with the EF-S 15-85, which will give you a much wider angle at the short end (equivalent to 24mm on a full frame).
I then think the 10-18 mentioned above, would be worthy of consideration, although I believe the Canon EF-S 10-22 is a better lens.

Unless, of course, you require something longer than 85mm. Being as you know wht you'll be shooting I'm guessing this will be the case.
