Hi, I have been tasked by my boss to find a cheap alternative to paying £360+ for a wide angle lens for a Nikon D3300 to facilitate the photographing of rooms in properties we are currently selling/letting. The lens we are currently using is a Nikon AF-s Nikkor18-55mm3.5-5.6GII (DX VR) Any help would be greatly appreciated but please bear in mind I am not a photographer and may not know all the jargon employed in Photography.

Sigma 10-20mm (y)

Sorry forgot to say welcome to the forums.:)

:plus1: for Sigma 10-20, HSM, ideal for interiors,

Yet another vote for sigma 10-20mm. Before I went full-frame this was possibly my favourite lens. Although I was warned at the time I was looking for one on the used market that there were some not-so-sharp examples about, so check anything you're offered carefully.

Definitely the Sigma, however, don't forget that the perspective will be extended..... might make stuff that's at the end of the room look much smaller than it actually is!

Definitely agree with the sigma 10-20mm. I used to have one and only sold it because I moved to full frame
