Wide primes with Lee Big Stopper

I'm a big fan of the Lee Big Stopper. I previously used it and other Lee filters a lot with my Nikon 16-35mm and D800. Then I switched to the Nikon 14-24mm - fantastic lens but not compatible with the standard Lee system. So I sold off all my Lee stuff and bought into the Lucroit system. It's okay - but the Formatt Pro Stop 10 isn't a patch on the Big Stopper. I'm keeping the 14-24mm but have just picked up a used Big Stopper and was considering what wide-angle prime I might be able to use with it. I have the Nikon 24-70 so i suppose the range I'm looking in is that 14-24mm range, preferably at the lower end. I have the Lee WA adaptor ring so the lens would need to be compatible with that.

Any suggestions?

Nikon 20mm, the new f1.8G is very good and even the old f2.8D was decent stopped down.

Also I'm sure I had a look at the Lucroit and I think you can get a ring to let it fit the Samyang 14mm f2.8 very good very wide and very cheap!

I am pretty certain that Lee are bringing out a mk 2 wide angle filter for that lens which will include a big stopper for that size for the first time. Worth waiting?

Yes, it's the Disatagon. Zeiss will remove the hood and terminate the barrel with a normal 95mm thread for landscape users.....I've had mine "circumcised" and it works fine with 100mm filters and the Lee push on holder.

I use the 14-24 with a progrey holder and led nd grads and I have the new hitech fire rest 150x150-10 stop filter on order. It actually should be more neutral than the Lee big stopper if all the reviews are anything to go by. Good prices on Amazon. As mentioned Lee have the SW150 mark 2 system out which offers a part to stop any light leaking- this can also be bought and added to the original Lee sw150 for very little cost.

No. I've bought a 95-115 step-up ring and a 115mm lens hood to make sure that there's no vignetting....works well.
