wider than 50mm lens for portraits

Took a load of shots using the 50mm 1.8II last weekend which came out great but luckily there was loads of room. Got another session next weekend where i don't think i have enough room (especially on the 1.6 crop).

Can anyone suggest anything wider than 50mm that is just as sharp and around F2.8 that is no more than £200 (second hand is fine)

I have a tamron 28-300 and the kit lens but would like something sharper and faster.

Canons EF 28mm f/2.8 and 35mm f/2

35mm f2 gets my vote too.

Either of the above, or you may find a sigma 30mm f1.4 second hand for under £200 if you're lucky.

I have the sigma and like it a lot
would go for the canon but I wanted the lowest aperture possible.

If you're going used, then Canon 28 1.8 too. Pretty unusual portait lenses though, even on crop format
