So, I tried to make a film of last weeks trip to Mull
For a couple of reason (one being I was on holiday and didn't want to lug tripod everywhere) I shot it all handheld ,except for the peice to camera
It worked in places not in others. One thing that suprised me was trying shooting handheld with IS then halving the speed of the footage. I can just about hold the cam steady at a still subject but panning invariably ends up jerky (with me) but I found that slowing it got rid of some of the movement or should I say made it less aparent. It won't win anything at cannes but works ok in places
Only the second time I've made anything with this Cam so still learning..
