Wildlife photography Thief

Be good to know how Andy Rouse and any of the others get on with their claims.

Every time I click that link it asks me to enter a e.mail addy ,is it safe to do so as I can’t read any context without it .in any cases of image theft I use pixsy.com to chase it up for me ,usually with success to

It’s run by Will Nicholls so should be safe to subscribe to. Isn’t there a “no I don’t want to improve my photography” option at the bottom to bypass and close the pop up.

It’s a little more than the odd image theft. It’s practically a who’s who of wildlife photography who’s images have been stolen and passed off as the ‘photographer’s’.

I've just tried the link and it doesn't ask me for anything. It seems a bit wierd it's asking you.

I often get a subscription pop up when I visit the site, it’s not every time but quite often. There is an option to close it at the bottom of the pop up but it’s not the normal close or cancel wording.

o.k got there now ,it was my i.pad that was causing the problem, and as some of the victims said see ya in court .the only way to deal with it

Yes Mr Alex Jones. I think he’s going to be in a spot of bother soon.. ripping off many of the country’s best wildlife photographers.. and Getty.

Strange. If you Google: "alex jones wildlife photography" there comes up a whole plethora or sites and info. Is this the same guy or a different one? If it's not the same one, the legit one is not going to terribly pleased about the association.
There is indeed a legitimate Alex Jones who specialises more in Wildlife filming I believe, the Alex Jones referred to here is in fact an Alex Del Pierra, purporting to be the Chief Photographer of 'The Wildlife Studio' he appears a few places, mostly they have been shut down as a good number of high profile photographers discovered him selling copyright images on eBay... He is there on FB, Linkdin, and was on Instagram all originally pointing to his eBay sales pages.

Some of his image descriptions made you wonder is he knows much at all, i.e Japanese Macaques in snow which he claimed to have taken in tropical India and of course (a classic) a Polar Bear photographed in Antarctica (That image was the copyright of Mr Rouse)

He was in fact ripping off some of the top names, Steve Winter, David Lloyd, Charlie Hamilton James and Andy Rouse to name just a few... I believe he is dodging the flack at the moment, but all seems to have gone quiet as cases and legal action may be in the course of preparation.

Come visit us at London SW7
Thats South Kensington isn't it. Perhaps he's claiming the Natural History Museum as all his too :D
It certainly is.... The address that he gives however is a mail box and mail forwarding business.. 28, Old Brompton Rd.
Just around the corner from the NHM and tube, (used to buy sarnies a couple of doors down)

I know Jules Cox has offered the use of his law firm to anybody that wants to pursue legal action, if they are not already represented..

How does he get hi res images, to be able to print so big??

Probably doesn't but if you print on canvas it can hide the low res image used. I have a huge canvas printed from an image taken on my 300D in my hallway, plus once had a competition winning image on a 7 story high video billboard from the same camera that looked amazing.
