I've just recently launched my new website Wildlife World.

It's a new project of mine which aims to achieve the following:

  • Educate visitors about the wildlife cross the planet.
  • Improve my CV for a career in wildlife.
Each entry in the Encyclopedia is written from scratch by me. :) (Don't worry - information is accurate!)

Please check it out and let me know what you think! If anyone wants to register the support is greatly appreciated.

It may be accurate but it is far from complete. Just did a quick check on Africa and you are listing Kingfisher - when you actually mean Eurasian Kingfisher. It feels important that you are able to differentiate between the different species of kingfisher to present a truly global picture.

But, its a good start - keep up the good work and I'm sure it will blossom into a useful resource.
 
It does spread into Africa but I think you need to specify you are talking about the Eurasian Kingfisher so as not to confuse with grey headed, giant, malachite, pied, etc as there are many species of kingfisher across Africa.

Just thinking aloud here - would it make more sense to focus on British wildlife first? Doing the whole world is a massive task...
 
Looks nice and basic (in a good way, not all over the place and difficult to read), good luck. :)

Did you write the website from scratch or use software (wordpress, Joomla etc)?

I have a LOT of spare time at the moment and am have been tempted to start a similar site (with a different subject).
 
It's a lovely looking site, and the photos are top notch. Will, did you have a feature in the Hexham Courant a while back?
 
Ha ha. Thought it was probably you. Well good on you anyway. You've already made some significant achievements, and looking at your portfolio site, your photos are fantastic.
