WIll a minolta bayonet fit rokkor fit a sony alpha?

Well, does it or doesn't it? I'd like to know :D
 
I think the answer is no. I have read that the desirable MF Rokkor lenses (50/1.2, 58/1.2) need adapting to fit on Minolta / Sony A-mount (D)SLRs.
