Will hoya polorizer filter hd or pro 1 fit with lee wide angle adaptor ring

Yes it fits in my Hoya 77mm but I would not recommend you try it.
The shape of the wide angle adaptor almost overlaps the front of the polariser - the bit that twists. I'll try and explain why thats a potential big problem
When you attach the two together, you need to hold both sides of the polariser else the Wide Angle Adapter will just rotate the front side and not screw into the thread.
If you can successfully get the polariser and adapter together, you will find the as the thread pulled both items together - the grip you had on both sides of the polariser is minimised by every degree of rotation. I almost twisted it in so far that I couldn't grip the front of the polariser as it was buried in the backend/body of the adaptor.
As you know the polariser is in two parts - hence holding both parts to screw it on earlier.
So what I was almost left with as a freely rotating (rearend) polariser stuck in the adaptor. You can't get to the polariser front as there is very little to grip as it has been screwed inside the adaptor frame. Elastic bands, marrigolds, mouse mats or strap wrenches ain't gonna undo that if it is too far!!!
Sorry for the convoluted reply but its soo easy to do and its too late once you realise it - a classic facepalm awaiting.

I still have the remains of my hoya polariser on the shelf after I used it with the lee wide angle adapter.
I got the same issues as Andy did, and in the end I broke the polariser filter mechanism trying to get them apart.

You would think so, but as soon as you start rotating the polariser then moving the filters back straight the rotating effect there tightens everything up without you even realising.

Don't forget that you still need to screw that assembly onto a lens. Once its on its very feasible you will be rotating the whole bracket adaptor and polariser as one unit.

as mentioned above it is a case of being careful to not over tighten things. Filters only need to be run down flush, no need to tighten then to the lens or each other just a little nip. I use a Hoya CirPol and Cokin adapter with ND grads on 77mm lenses sometimes and never had an issue. The ONLY filter issue I've had is sometimes I stack the CirPol over the UV and they have be difficult to separate once or twice but always got them apart without any magic or tools, just determination. Only thing to watch is if you want to adjust you CirPol do so then counter hold the Cir Pol to align the ND grad with your scene. Again no issue just be aware.

Buy the 105mm adaptor ring that fits on the front of the lee filter holder and buy a 105mm CPL, I brought the B&W Kassmann (sp) as this was what was recommended to me at the time of purchase, they had the Lee as well, and I looked at both and settled for the B&W. Not the cheapest option but buy far the easiest to use.
