I'm not sure if it was an update to OS X or my inept fiddling on the dock, but my documents folder has vanished :eek:

I quite liked the stack thingy majig, but now I have to open finder and click documents before I can see the contents.

I tried dragging documents from the window in finder to the dock, but it doesn't seem to want to go on there and I lose it from the finder window.

Please help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :bonk:
 
Hey Bri...

If you drag it from the home folder and drop it next to the trash can (not IN it... :eek:) it should stay there... :shrug:

NOT the Document icon from the grey bit on the left but the Document folder from within the white bit to its right... ;)

Have you inadvertently dragged your document folder into the Trash bin - have a look in there. Right click on the Trash icon and click on Open and see if it is there - if it is just drag in out.
 
Ven......you are an absolute star, I was indeed dragging the Documents icon and not the name from the center panel of the window iYKWim......I have my stack back now :)
