Will stacking these filter cause problems?

Just ordered my 10 stop filter.

If I coupled this with a circular polarizing filter would I still get the CP benefit??

Also, If I used two filters on my canon 10-22mm would that cause problems around the edges?

I'd expect some heavy vignetting when stacking, especially when using the lens to the wider end of its range.

You may get flare and/or other unwanted reflections.

edit: try it and see. I suspect you'd probably be best off putting the CPL in front of the 10-stop rather than the other way round.

i only had the ND.....tempted to buy a CP but not fully sure yet.

trying to weigh up the benefits.

As long as you buy a skinny CPL I can't see there being a problem using it - and I'm sure you will still see the same benefits from having it there

I used to mount my lee grads in front of my CPL and that gave me the same polarising effect.

You can use the two together, but you'll get vignetting at 10mm. If both filters are slim-mount then it won't be much - probably clear by about 12mm from memory.
