I was sure the D7000 would not work as I heard the D7000 has much higher battery life
My D90 has been scrapped (faulty) so I am left with D90 grip and two batteries (one original Nikon) so will be selling on here

No its the Meike grip from linkdelight which by all accounts is better than original
Its been superb and hope I can get another for the next camera (D7000 or D600)
The D90 was a brilliant camera and will be missed but it started to have problems focusing. It would hunt around and seem to physically have difficulty focusing the lenses. I bought it from Currys with the extended what ever happens warranty (pleased I did) and sent it off to them. They then informed me it was a write off and they would give me the value for the camera.
They give me £800 which I think is an excellent price. I already had some money saved for a new camera so I can put both together to get a D600 or a D7000 if its worth the extra
