NSFW Will this combination of camera and lens auto focus

My question is quite simple to answer [Hopefully] for all you people out there with a Canon1D iii and the Canon 400mm f5.6L lens. Will this combination with the Canon 1x4 mark iii teleconverter Auto focus. My understanding is that it will, but before I buy one I want to make sure that it does. Thanks in advance for your time in answering.

No bother at all with the mk2 1.4 extender so reckon the mk3 will too.

Only center point if I recall correctly though

Thanks...... can I ask, is this a good combo for wildlife. I currently have a 7D and a canon 300mm f4 is lens with a converter, I am thinking of swapping to the above set up
