Wimberley WH-200 and Nikon 300 f4

Hi folks

I'm looking at buying the Wimberley head to use with my 300mm f4.

Any thoughts? I know it's overkill, but any negatives to using it for the "small" lens?

just bought a mk2 wimberley myself used it at cadwell park last week lovely piece of kit but expensive £550 with the lens plate but should last a life time
