I have upgraded from Vista to Win7 but I have no audio sound at all .I tried to download a codec which I found on another site but it didn't work :shrug:
My pc says everything is working properly,Ive even tried uninstalling drivers and reinstalling them.
Now I am stuck as to what to do next,so please if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate the help .Thanks
 
yeah Neil just had a look and cant find my laptop
 
I have a Sony Vaio VGN-CS21S laptop. Am I reading this all wrong or am I entitled to a free upgrade to Windows 7? :thinking:
 
It's OK I keep reading that buyers of this model get Win 7 free- from Sony presumably- but i've had mine about 6 months and wondered if there was a date limit on it.

Found the answer right there - the start date for the offer is June 26th and I bought mine on the 16th. :shrug:
 
Thanks everyone for their help. Pete has finally managed to get my sound back.
Downloaded drivers and then by process of elimination found correct one
