I opened the link from Vista to install Live Messenger:

Set up my mums laptop yesterday and had the same problem
Pocy flash websites, waste of time.

I had to install and old version in the end
 
When I got my new Vista Laptop I installed the latest Live Messenger.....

It crashed with a DEP error every time I ran it :bang: .

Eventually I found a patch on the Acer website , nothing on Microsloths website at all :shrug:
