Win7-menus

Morning,
All the programmes on my Windows 7 computer have started displaying menu options to the LEFT of the dropdown instead of the normal Right side. Anyone know why/how to revert to normal. Its a minor thing, but its starting to irritate. (Latent OCD??)

right click the start button,properties tab then uncheck store and display recently opened items in the start menu

sorry, not the start menu. Any program - click on a menu item in the top toolbar, it opens with the tab you've just clicked showing in the top right corner (instead of the to right). Sure the sub-menus were expanding to the left as well but isn't doing it now???
maybe its the heat

ah, found it. In bridge or CS4, if I right click and a menu shows, the sub-menu flies out to the left...
