Wind Machines

The main title kind of says it all. I'm looking for a wind machine for studio use but don't want to really pay for a pro unit as I would like to play around with it first to see if I'd use it.

Has anyone got/used anything like this?

if you want to play get a big **** off fan

otherwise someone makes one that looks like a big ass hairdryer (think its calumet) thats cheapish (for a wind machine) and looks quite controllable

a big pedestal fan ... at least it can double up in the summer as something useful
