Wind swept at Boundary Bay (Wild Snowy Owls)

Yeah... We were amazed. A friend was out walking and saw them, we had no idea they were around until she sent us a message!!
 
Nice shots last is my favorite:)

Saw one in scotland about 20 years ago and always wanted to see another. I nearly book flights to Boston to see the ones there:D
 
I kind of feel sorry for them... It's like they are getting stalked by the paparazzi out here... The amount of people coming down to photograph them on a weekday was crazy, I shudder to think how many will be there at the weekend!!

The great thing is most of the owls were close enough that a 70-300mm was quite adequate, not to mention lucky :)

#2 is my favourite - those eyes really pop!
