This is my first attempt at landscape photography, I usually do wildlife. Any comments would be welcome as I want to learn.

Well you've done some things right :)

You've used a small aperture and got a good depth of field, you've got the horizon on about a third.... and the exposure looks good.

only thing missing is some interest in the fairly blank top 2/3rds of the picture and a strong single subject for your eye to rest on.

Good start but keep going ;)

I agree with everything Robert said. I've taken about a thousand similar pictures...all of very pretty scenes. I finally figured out that "pretty scenes" often do not translate into good photos because of the lack of a central subject or dominant theme.

You've gotten good color saturation and DOF. The wind turbines offer a potential strong subject, but are too distant to capture and hold the eye.

Keep on! It just takes a bit of practice.)

Thanks for the comments, I thought it was a bit uninteresting as well. I am happy with the exposure and colour.

Hey is it just me or does this have a horizontal slope which rivals the north face of Ben Nevis? :D
