Windows 7 and Photography Websites (Beware)

Hi all,

Thought I best pass on some info I found when on a Windows 7 course the other week

People who disable right click, don't let people take pics off sites etc, we know we can print screen around it but Windows 7 has something built in, go onto your website and a pic and then click Windows key and type snipping tool into the search at the bottom

Not sure how many people don't like people having pics or how many Windows 7 users will find this but thought I would point it out

Or you could use pretty much any version of Mac osx to do the same.

There are also freeware tools you can download and use on XP that'll download the whole contents of a website including full resolution images.

Basically one you upload an image to the internet you loose control over it

Aye, I beleive microsoft got round to adding it as Apple have had it for a while and it does indeed mean the majority of people can now bypass right click disabling. you dont need to type it in either, its in the programs menu anyway.

You do all know that the picture is already on your computer? You couldn't view it if it wasn''t. Why go to all the trouble of downloading it when its already in your internet cache?

yes, but most average users wouldn't know where to start looking...
