i though i did a fresh install but looks like i didnt

is ther any way i can remove the old version of windows vista without reinstalling

or is it a fresh install again

what annoyed me is that i didnt see a reformat option well if i did i sliped by

please help my hard drive is almost full now

I would jsut do a freah install, ive had this many as time and never really found a way of deleting, must say I didnt really look that hard, anywhos, there is an option to fromat the disc, after you click install you get to a page with two options, cant remember quite what they are, but you need to click the lower one that im sure says something about options, sholud know this off by heart now as I did it four times at the wekend. Click next and you will see a page with all your drives on, highlight the one that you are going to intall on, once youve done that you will see below an options button, click on it and there will be various things that you can do format, delete, new etc etc, click on format then next and let it inatall, but remeber to save anything of importance before you do any of this as it will wipe the drive clean.

As long as its a genuine key, and you dont change the hardware you can reinstall windows for as long as you like

When it comes up with the option of which drive to install go into advanced and delete the origional partitions. Then create a new disk on the free space.

That way you get a fully origional install with nothing left behind :D

You can just clear out the old bits from vista (usually stored in a folder .old) by performing a disk cleanup from my computer. That is what I did and it worked just fine.
