Anyone any success in setting up Mysql ODBC connections in Windows 7. Tried driver 5.1 but can't get connection, 3.5.1 I know works but can' set it up in w7.
Have you checked whether the firewall isn't blocking connections to the server?
I can connect to MySQL without a problem using the 5.1.6 ODBC drivers on Windows 7 x64 (32-bit ODBC drivers for 32-bit apps).
Hi guys, thanks for the replies, problem solved with some help from the support desk. Seems the first set of parameters they provided were completely wrong. Everything working fine now. Haven't tried setting up a local mysql yet.
