Crap weather, crap light, very windy, choppy water, couldn't get close, thought sod it, I'll post them any way:shrug:

Turned out fine. Coots do make me smile in that they think nothing of swimming across a lake to have a fight with another coot and then still fluff up their feathers having lost the fight.

Got some nice detail in the feathers Brian. I always have detail with the white above their beaks when I take pics of these.
