I can't tell you how Excited I was to see my first Wasp Spider Argiope bruennichi! And I can't tell you how dissapointed I was that it was so damn windy and overcast that the best Macro I could get was still blurry (motion due to wind - shallow depth of field due to lens at 2.8)

BAH!! - anyone got any good Wasp Spider shots?
 
Never heard of it. Think I'd have noticed if I had ever seen one. Are they rare?

shame about the wind though!
wouldnt mind having a go snaping one of these!
