Winnats Winter Pass

Just after some comments/criticism on this one please as I havent posted an image for a while!

This is my first attempt at a snowy scene this weekend just gone, I took it up in the Peak District. Its Winnats Pass heading down into Castelton.

Very nice, i love the watery blue of the sky. My only slight criticism would be the whole pic looks a bit bright, but then i do have a bright monitor...

Parts of the clouds have lost some detail although I don't think that's a problem. If I was to be picky, you cut the rocks off right of frame but other than that I like it and the colour of the sky is just lovely.

For me, its begging for a Mono conversion.

I originally took this using the wrong white balance setting Dont laugh, we have all done this! And the snow looked, erm rather orange/brown.

Luckily though.... I shot in RAW! I wanted to get the snow as white as possible with blowing it out too much. If I get time tonight, I think it will be going through the mono blender! Thanks for the comments
