I used to live in Minnis Bay on the north kent coast. The sea wall and marshes from there to Reculver, is a good walk with plenty of migrating birds. In fact, I shall be visiting there myself next month and looking forward to getting back along the sea wall.
My last visit even coincided with a very rare visit from a White Billed Diver: DSC_6679 by Glynn Hobbs, on Flickr
I have been back here (Minnis Bay) for a couple of weeks and the weather is awful......strong winds, consistent rain and too dark for any decent shots.
With only one more week in the UK, it's not looking good
