It's so hard to try to convey through a camera lens what the human eye sees. We woke up this morning to blue skies and sunshine after two days of freezing rain. We were without power for about 12 hours on Friday. Unfortunately, some are still without power two days later and the damage to the trees has been just awful. BUT! The sunlight shining through the ice encased branches of the trees was simply astounding - daylight chandeliers everywhere. Here are two poor examples of what greeted us this morning...
