Edit My Images
Yes
I've been re-working my portfolio website which was previously running on pixelpost but it would seem development on it has stopped and found it hard to customise easily. I've taken the easy option and gone for a wordpress template which I've customized a bit and might do some more to it yet.

Here's the link: http://www.colour-blind.co.uk/

Main things I'd like some feedback on please, would be:
- What do you think of the look and feel? Does the background image make it too 'busy' looking?
- Does the slideshow feature look and work well? I hope to add a thumbnail filmstrip navigator to the album pages at some point to make for easier navigation.
- Do the images load quick enough?
- What do you think of the map idea for the Landscape galleries? (I know I've only populated the 'Highlands' section at present, but will eventually fill the others out too). Also do you think I could define the areas better?

A few things I still need to do:
- Thumbnail filmstrip for album pages. (Might need to change gallery plugin to do this). Tried NextGen Galleries but found it not as user friendly as other plugins. Also couldn't get the slideshows to centre on the page, which seems to be a known issue? Maybe I'm just being thick!
- Update the About Page.
- Add some sort of shopping basket feature linked to paypal so I can sell prints.

Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks,

Craig. :)

I don't find any problem with the background.

Slideshow looks good and works well. The images appear almost instantaneously.

I don't think the map adds anything. It could do if it had markers to show the locations of the photos, but I think, if you want to give the locations, it would be better to put the locations under each photo.

I find the black bar, at the bottom of the screen, with the search box distracting.

Some great photos, BTW. Really like the close one of Beinn Eighe.
