Wire Wool - First go

Hi

Had my first play with wire wool spinning. Many thanks to my mate Jason for popping down to help

This is great fun, just need to find a decent location next that isnt covered in orange light (these are shot with tungsten WB iirc)

Yeah its on the beach, right behind where the camera is are a load of streetlights

Very good takes on the idea. Nice choice of location. I like the second and third mostly ...the third has a fab perspective in the twirl that makes the thing look alive as it runs down the slope!

In the third one the wool came off the bulldog clip mid spin, you can see it land and bounce off the rock lol

You seem to have got the hang of the technique, as for the orange glow, it works with the image i like it

Basically yes. String with a bulldog clip on the end.

Have seen on youtube people using whisks to have the wool in.

I had my first attempt the other day, I used a bird feeder in the shape of an apple I bought from B & Q, thought it would need tweaking a bit but it worked great, plus added a chain due to the weight so it didn't come off and it held the wool nicely. All for a few quid
