I tried wireless (RF602s), cheapo wired (from ebay) and Canon wired. The Canon wired was by fat the best in quality and nicest to use, assuming you only need it for triggering off a tripod for landscapes.
I use the Hahnel Giga T Pro II for Nikon but you can get the Canon fit one also. I'd recoomend it, it's relatively inexpensive and you can use it either as a wired or wireless remote.
I recently bought one of THESE YongNuo MC-36R's which has the option of wired or wireless so it is the best of both. It also does interval timings for shooting things like star trails or timelapse stuff. Im really impressed with it.
