Would I need a wireless flash kit for my camera? (Canon) or for my flash gun (jessops) or both?

Depends on which Jessops flash it is, the 360d has an optical slave that can be triggred from the onboard flash on your camera, however set of triggers would be a more reliable option. In both instances the flashgun can only be used in manual mode, so if it's something like a 300d then your choice is full power, or off......

If you're shooting indoors then you'll get away with using the optical slave, outdoors a set of triggers would be a better bet, the YongNuo RF602 or 603 are the best of the cheapies.

I was thinking that route at first but then I thought wireless would look cool and saves me getting tangled in wires lol
