Wireless remote for 70D?

Yes
I'm just trying to work out the best options for wirelessly triggering a 70D.

I have a cheap RC6 remote trigger but this is infrared so has line of sight issues.

The receive/transmitter pairs I've seen have the receiver in the hotshoe meaning you can't place a flash on top as well.

Is there anything that works with the built-in wireless of the 70D? Any other options?

That was one option but I didn't know if there was a remote that could be used in the same way?

I have one of those but I'd prefer a wireless solution and thought the 70D built-in wireless could be used somehow.

There's the standard Canon remote shutter release control but it's just that (shutter release) and nothing else and also the range is fairly minimal + needs line of site to somewhere near the front of the camera.

So that's the infrared? Was looking for wireless/wifi so no line of sight issues.

That's similar to what I was looking at but thought the built-in wireless on the 70D might be usable rather than sticking something on the hotshoe.

It's looking like it's maybe not.

Pretty sure the WIFI onboard is only really usable via apps on Apple/Android phones and from a laptop with wireless and the canon software. Can't say I've seen anything else anyway!
