wireless remote for nikon D3100

can anyone recommend a wireless remote for D3100, seen this reviews are good except the connection knowing my luck i would end up breaking it, so has anyone got wireless remote that fits well,

Yongnuo 603 are well built and reasonably priced. They also double as a flash trigger so best of both worlds.

Calumet are selling transmitter / remote that will work as a wireless remote, got a paor free with a set of lights and work perfectly.

I got the Pixel Pro last year. Works well and I have no problem with the cable.

They're normally just over a tenner on amazon and Ive never had an issue with it for what I use it for.

Agree with this too, i have 1 for my D5100 and it dos the job fine. Didnt see the need for spending much more than this.

That'll teach me for not checking, assumed it had IR as the D3000 had it. Wonder why they removed it

decided and ordered the pixel pro, reviews say the fit is tight but with a bit of engine oil it should slide in ok
