Slightly different as in you need to be standing in front of the camera to use that one, doesn't have its own wireless receiver so somewhat limiting.

You dont need to stand in front of the camera, i have a £3 chinese job off ebay and just put my hand round to the front but not in front of the lens.

Hahnel combi.
I have the Nikon model, but it comes in canon fit and others. Works fine - nominal 100 metre range. Not expensive.
