Nothing spectacular, but a test shot of a withered flower in the garden with my newly acquired Sigma 50mm f/2.8 Macro. It's an older version, so manual focus only, but still very easy to use. Shot with an old D1 at f/4.0:

Not so sure about the piece of wood? in the background, sort of distracts from the plant.
Looks like you should have plenty of fun with the new lens
Thanks Robin. It's actually a rusty old bar, which on other shots with greater DOF I thought might add a nice contrast with the plant, but I can see your point with the narrow DOF in this one.
