Critique Woburn Deer

I haven't been on here for a while, and want to get back into my photography properly again. I took this photo of a deer in Woburn during the rutting, back in October last year and would like some feedback on it.

Tricky lighting there Vicky, but I think you did very well with the dark subject on the lighter background. Maybe reduce the brighter parts and bring up the mid tones on the deer
