Wolverhampton wedding togs

Hey,

Anyone here recently done a wedding at Wolverhampton registry office?

Someone on facebook claims that they no longer allow photography inside during the ceremony but will allow one camcorder.

Can anyone confirm this?

I think it's a bit odd and think they may have their facts wrong!

If you look on their website at their guide it does mention using one video camera, but makes no mention of any photographic gear.

Your probably better off getting it from the horses mouth and contacting them directly.

Yeah, I've already checked the website and the guides but as you say, no mention of camera equipment. Google throws up a few things about the government being odd about registry office photography in general but nothing specific.

I also considered phoning but not sure any office staff would be in on a sunday

Just hoping for a quick answer from someone on here, you never know

most reg offices, its down to the individual resgstrar now.
some are becoming a lot more cooperative.
i would ring them directly.
staff are always very helpfull as a rule.
