Won my first ever comp last night.

I've never entered any photo comp before, but thought I'd stick this in the "Macro and close up" comp at the local club. First place.
All 46 club members present had a vote and I'm told this was a clear winner.
Gobsmacked.

(Suppose the knockers will say the other 70+ entries must have been ****, but there's no pleasing some folk.)

The fly was one of a job lot of 10 for £5 that I bought off e-bay. Nothing special about it. Suspended on a needle from the wife's sewing box.
