Very very nice, not easy to find a wood with great light, the changed fern really adds to it similarily (y)

Great capture and lovely colours.

I wonder if it work better with a little crop? My idea would be to remove the right quarter of the picture.

Yep, like this one! well spotted and shot.

Maybe try a more gritty processing style? Perhaps add some film grain, a slight vignette, up the vibrance a touch and a very slight desaturation? See what you think :)
 
Thanks folks. Although this was taken where I work it was a case of right place and right time.
Woodsy - I'll have a go and see what the outcome is like and post it up if I can get it to work - thanks for the ideas.
G2EWS - Lets see what I can do.....

The aim was to get the colours but retain detail in the birches at the front of the frame. really pleased with the outcome.
