Wordpress blog

Hi, I'm building my websit using Serif WebPlus x5, in fact it's nearly finished but the blog withing the software is not particularly photo friendly (you have to give every image it's own URL)

So, can I use a free Wordpress blog and attach it to my website. Any help would be appreciated.

Sure you can, all you do is install Wordpress into a seperate directory (like www.yourwebsite.com/blog).

You could, of course, use Wordpress to drive the whole site...

Thanks Matt, bearing in mind I am a total novice at this website building what do you mean by using it to drive the whole site.

Use Wordpress to power the site, rather than just using it for a blog - All of my sites use wordpress to run them, rather than building each page separately.

Wordpress isn't hosting - It's a content management system for websites.

Perhaps you would be better off employing the services of a professional then...?

If you have already created the rest of the site there is no need to re do it just to use Wordpress. You can just use Wordpress for the blog.

Be warned though, it will probably be tricky to get your blog & site to look the same.

Thanks Lewis, I know they probably wont look the same but I'm not overly concerned, I have already downloaded Wordpress onto my host, just now need to configure the blog.
