wordpress increase width

In the gallery settings I think you need to select what size, or you may need another blog template that allows wider images..you need to look at your template/dashboard settings ...that is if you can.

I have it set to full size in the gallery width but full size seems to be only the width of the blog itself. I guess it's restricted in the template I am using.

Do a search for full width templates, can you search for templates from your dashboard?
 
Can you load the Twenty Ten theme...that is full width and 800 or 900px I think.
 
Joe, I think you need to add the shots as a new post, because these are just staying on the 'homepage' and will stay at the preview size.

yes, in the process of doing so. I had to resize them again first and re-upload.
 
grrrr, now it's playing silly buggers with me and won't let me reupload them!

this is supposed to be easy. I tried adding the whole lot again now resized but it stalled half way through and now it says:

"Warning: We have a concern about some of the content on your blog. Please click here to contact us as soon as possible to resolve the issue and re-enable posting."

and won't let me upload.
 
Don't know what that means....Also I would empty the shots from your 'gallery' folder before reuploading
