Morning all,

just wondering what themes you all use on your sites?

gone through loads this morning as I want to change my theme from a dark colour to something white/light and can't seem to find something thats decent

after something simple and easy on the eye

help

don't mind some customizing to make it "fit" but after something decent to start with

I went with Twenty Ten, with a view to customising it.

You can change text (I think), never tried tbh, but I do like the fact you can have a logo on platform. One thing I'm trying to sort out is a members area which requires a person to sign up...easy enough...but add an age limiter it's becoming increasingly difficult

Theoretically, you should be able to edit the files that make up the theme (through the wordpress admin interface), specifically the css files, and change the fonts used for various things there, it's a bit of a minefield for the uninitiated though. Platform looks a tad more complex in that respect than Twenty Ten does.

It'll still only a case of changing the relevant tags for the typography, regardless of how complex it is... Obviously you need to know what you're loooking for though

Photocrati is the one I use, has many different styles out of the box but you can also customise it very easily, it's cheaper than ProPhoto at $79. Their new version 4 has e-commerce galleries built in - not tried it personally but an interesting development and apparently a first!
