Just wanted to pick your brains and see which version of this image you prefer? I can't decide... Any other crit also appreciated.

Colour for me. I'd also crop the bottom of the picture to just above the heads of the men on the right, the empty spaces and men are a bit of a distraction IMO.

I leaning towards No1 but i would be intrested to see a crop, as sugested by Andy ( the dificulty will be finding a crop where the bottom edge does not distract the eye.

Colour one for me. The mono looks a little flat. Also I think it would benefit form a foreground crop

Ahhhh interesting, thanks for the feedback! I did experiment with a crop but like someone mentioned it was difficult to find a crop where the foreground wasn't distracting. So am I the only one who actually like the workers in the frame?

I think you are. I don't know what the intent was when you took the photo, but in my eyes, it's all about the composition - repetitive shapes of the vans in the foreground, and then the mountain range of scrap piles and vertical cranes in the background. Alternatively, you've also got new vehicles kn the foreground, and there predecessors piled up in the background!!

To that end, I don't see how the people are adding to the image, but that's just my opinion!

The mono does look a little flat, but I think that it could be enhanced with a little PP tweaking.

I agree about cropping a little off the bottom might improve it even further.
