Workshop question

Hi, i have been invited on a Mammal workshop, i know it may sound like a silly question but what lens would be suitable ,pole cats ,mink and harvest mouse are available for shooting ,i have never been on one and i only have long zoom lenses and i dont want turn up with a 100-400 ,i presume with harvest mice you will be pretty close ,any advice would be appreciated ,Thanks

It depends on how close to the animals you are allowed to get. I would take your 100-400 and a nifty fifty for close up work (if allowed)

i would take the 100-400 and some extension tubes/macro lens if you can.
